Rocprop is an ideal secondary roof support for coal, hard rock and soft rock mining environments.
The compact, all-steel roof support prop offers active pre-loading and stable yield, providing predictable performance, in both static and dynamic load conditions.
Under static load conditions, it sustains constant load-bearing characteristics and its steel construction makes it suitable for long-term use. In dynamic conditions or during blasting, it maintains the integrity of the hanging roof during closure.
Active support is achieved using hydraulic pre-loading. At installation, water is pumped into the Rocprop hydraulically telescoping the inner tube until it makes contact with the roof. Once at full height, the water is drained out to prevent the risk of freezing.
